Seismic activity stops after temple is dedicated

This rumor claims that shortly after the completion and dedication of the Bountiful LDS Temple, seismic detection equipment could no longer detect seismic activity in the area around the temple. This would most likely require a miracle since the Wasatch Fault Line runs along the base of the Wasatch Mountain range, exactly where the temple is located.
I contacted the University of Utah Seismograph Stations (UUSS) and asked them to help with this rumor. We found a station within 1 mile of the temple and then took a radius of 10km from this station. Since the temple was dedicated on Jan. 8, 1995, we looked at all activity in this radius between 1990 - 1994 and compared it to the activity from 1995 - 1999. During the first time frame (pre-temple) there were 4 seismic events registered. During the second time frame (post-temple) there were 8 seismic events.
